Dear Dr. Chan,
I would like to apply for medical subsidy for a 8 months old stray puppy that I rescued recently at Johor Bahru.
I have named her Shasha. I found her sitting on the same spot, not moving even though it was raining that time at Ulu Tiram. When I got closer to check, I found that her hind leg had injuries. When I brought her to vet, the vet cleaned her wound and said Shasha’s legs must have been ran over by a vehicle. She couldn’t walk or stand up for long. I could not take x-ray on the same day because the x-ray in that clinic is quiet expensive. The next day I brought her to another vet for x-ray since this place seemed more affordable. According to x-ray examination, there was no injury to spinal cord but one of her leg is fractured badly (the one without wound). The vet gave her antibiotics, painkiller, anti-inflammation tablets as well as glucosamine tablets for her fracture. The vet advised us to give her a cage rest for approximately 2 months for her to recover. She is placed under foster care currently at Taman Sri Tebrau, Johor Bharu. Once she has recovered, she will be spayed and vaccinated before given for adoption, Dr.
Please see the attachments for Shasha’s pictures and medical subsidy application form. I will post all the original receipts and the medical subsidy form to you by today, Dr.
I have read and understood your policies. I hope you could help me withShasha’s medical fees.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Kavitah Ganasan
