Mother And Newborn Cat Are Doing Well After Traumatic Birth

Hi, my name is Lita and I am at Soi Dog Foundation with my baby Lepus. If you have not heard of us, you can read our original story at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.659176844124054.1073742622.108625789179165&type=3
Lucky for me, I was found by a nice person called Khun Dao when I was struggling to give birth to my kittens. Unfortunately, my first baby was stuck and didn’t survive, but because of Khun Dao, I was rushed to the vet and Lepus was born by an emergency caesarean.
We are now being looked after by the vets at Soi Dog and they are very pleased that I am able to make enough milk to feed Lepus. It would have been terrible for us to have been separated while Lepus is so young.
Lepus is already starting to grow and if I may say so myself, is the cutest kitten ever! We have a nice quiet space here at Soi Dog and I can spend my days concentrating on caring for Lepus rather than having to worry about feeding myself and keeping us both safe. Thank you to members of Phi’s Cat Care Club for helping Soi Dog Foundation to take care for us. Without people like you, I do not think Lepus or even myself would have survived. If you are not already a member and would like to help cats like us, please visit https://www.soidog.org/en/sponsor-a-cat/ to join.
