Brave Maril Comes The Clinic In A Horrific Condition

One look at Maril and all you can see in her eyes is despair. Maril was found recently in the south of Phuket between a tailor shop and a mechanic. She has severe skin problems, eye discharge, overgrown nails and she had ticks all over her body and face. Skin scrapings have revealed that Maril is not only suffering from mange, which is caused by mites, but also from a fungal infection. She is also suffering from anaemia. Maril must be in extreme discomfort and we hope this can be eased as soon as possible with treatment.

Maril has now started her various treatments including skin medications, antibiotics and nutritional supplements to help with her recovery. Luckily, Maril still has her appetite and is drinking regularly, so while her recovery is expected to be a lengthy one, we are hopeful that she will be able to make a full recovery.
