BEFORE & AFTER: TINY NEVER KNEW A LAP COULD FEEL SO GOOD

These before & after photos were taken in Thailand where after three years of neglect, a very sweet little dog named Tiny is beginning a wonderful new life.

“I was feeding her this last month on the road, because she was so timid, I couldn’t get close to her until a few days ago,” said Marianne Willemse at Love Animal House who has rescued countless animals from extreme cruelty and hardship. “She was so fearful because no one had paid any attention to her before.”

“Then she disappeared for a few days and I went to investigate,” Marianne continues. “Her ‘people’ had put her in a cage. I asked if I was allowed to give her a bath and they happily obliged. Her hair was covered in sticky stuff and her whole body was covered in small ticks. At three years old Tiny was stunted, not enough nutrition.”

Over the next several days, Marianne began coming around to care for Tiny. She de-wormed her and fed her and even had her groomed. And much to her delight, the residents agreed to release Tiny.

Marianne took Tiny to meet fellow animal advocate Margreet who was all to happy to welcome Tiny into her home and to provide a companion for her Maltese terrier.

“There was no hesitation on both sides. Look at Tiny’s transformation in energy, ” Marianne said. “What a beautiful day for Tiny.”

Harmony Fund provides food for the animals at Love Animal House each month, but little Tiny sure didn’t eat much compared to the much larger animals who live here.
