In Loving Memory Of Lucky

Lucky was tied up n being left alone in an emptied house when the owner moved out. With no proper food n water, nobody to take care of him caught his rescuer’s friend’s attention. Juliana drove all the way down to Karak n saw his condition was heartbreaking. Covered with ticks, fleas n soil. Tangled coating. Drove him all the way back to Dr Au of VPAC for treatment n vaccination. Upon seeking treatment, Lucky was then placed at our shelter, where Juliana would often visit and also to help out with shelter works.

Juliana has been trying hard to find Lucky a loving forever home.

That was Lucky’s story, for the past 6 months, he was active, energetic and friendly like how any doggie should be. Now, it is with a heavy heart to inform that Lucky passed on this Tuesday from cancer.

In remembrance of a lively boy, Lucky. May you Rest in Peace. Run free now, across Rainbow Bridge and don’t look back. We will miss you.
At this point, we deem it fitting to share Lucky’s rescuer – Juliana’s thoughts
” A big thank u for all the workers n volunteers who have been so nice n kind to Lucky for the past 6 months. Allowing us to be part of this big family! My deepest appreciation for the supports n patience u all gave me. Not just for sheltering Lucky but helping me to understand homeless furkids even more. SCAS is a great training ground to prepare me in becoming a rescuer. 6 months, 2 souls saved. Lucky n Elsa the blind shih tzu. Lucky has decided to pass his baton to another furkid in need n my works will continue. In remembrance of my dear Lucky.”
