The car came out of nowhere. Id been running around my territory and by the time I realised I was in danger, it was too late. I heard the horrible loud noise of the brakes as the car tried to stop and then I was flung to the side of the road. The pain was unbearable.

I am a little girl called Danitza and I am just 5 months old.

A kind person saw what had happened and raced me to the Soi Dog shelter. When I first arrived, I was in so much pain. I was panting a lot and couldnt stand on my back left leg.

I was sent to a specialist hospital that has an x-ray machine and I am now back at Soi Dog. They say I have a dislocated hip. I dont know what this means but I do know I cannot stand on my leg at the moment.

I am being looked after by Dr. Rain and she tells me I am also anaemic. She has promised to make me better.

Only time will tell if I get to keep this bad leg of mine but despite this, the vets tell me I am still a lucky girl. Thanks to some kind-hearted Soi Dog supporters, I am having my medical treatment funded.

Without these people who send monthly donations to Soi Dog, nobody would have been able to help me.

As you read my story, that is the sad situation for many other street dogs and cats. They are sick or injured; they have been abused or abandoned.

This need not be the case; I am asking you to please help them, just as others did for me.

Just a few dollars a week could end their suffering and give them a second chance at life. No amount is too small; every penny will help.

Please just click on my picture now to see what you can do for them today.

Thank you.
