Due to rabies outbreak currently in Penang (case reported in Kepala Batas and Kuala Sg Pinang), council will do massive culling on stray animals, including dogs and cats to prevent this outbreak.

Please keep all your pets indoors. For feeders, please alert on the animals behavior. Dont get bitten or scratch. And please talk to your vet regarding rabies vaccination for your pets.

Council will actively catch and cull the strays. So please open your home for strays and adopt as many as we can.
