THANK YOU FOR RESPECTING MACAQUES!

Singapore is increasingly developing and creating urban areas next to forests. With shrinking habitat, and urban areas close by, macaques sometime wander out of their forest and into nearby houses and schools. They mean no harm, but we understand how this may be alarming.

We want to thank everyone who has called ACRES when faced with such a situation – giving us the opportunity to resolve the issue ethically.

Singapore is their home as much as ours, so were grateful that people have been understanding of this, and have shown compassion towards these social and intelligent creatures!

Please continue to call our ACRES Wildlife Rescue Team at 97837782 if you are concerned about a macaque. Thank you!
