SPRING CLEANING DOES NOT MEAN DECLUTTERING OF YOUR PETS

With just two weeks to the Lunar New Year and as we busy ourselves with spring cleaning, we would like to take the opportunity to remind that cleaning up does not mean getting rid of the family pet.

Pets are sentient beings and they rely on us for their needs. When we decide to include an animal to the family, it is up to us to provide them with the lifelong care that they require, even in their old age and when they are sick.

They are a part of the family and are not disposables.

Under the Animals and Birds (Amendment) Act 2014, anyone found guilty of cruelty to animals, including abandonment of any animal, can be imprisoned for up to 18 months, fined up to $15,000, or both.
