Repatriation. Survivors Of The Illegal Wildlife Tr..

[REPATRIATION]

SURVIVORS OF THE ILLEGAL WILDLIFE TRADE ARE GOING HOME!

Today marks another achievement for the animals residing at the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre. We are repatriating four giant Asian turtles as well as two elongated tortoises rescued from the illegal wildlife trade.

Last year we repatriated our first reptile. Rahayu, a Malaysian giant turtle. Since then, we promised ourselves to do everything we could to give a second chance for Rahayu’s friends still residing in our sanctuary. It took us another whole year, but today we are finally sending Boltz, Andrea, Audrey, Ayu, Comot and Comel home to Malaysia!

Read the stories of six brave survivors of the illegal wildlife trade.

Stand with us to give more animals a voice and help us return them to their homeland. Join us at our Charity Gala to make a difference: https://www.giving.sg/acres/charitygala2018
