CAT STUCK IN A PIPE

We received an urgent call about a cat that was stuck in a plastic pipe near a power supply building in Eunos. A worried member of the public heard a screeching meow as she walked past a drain behind the building and called our hotline.

By the time our Animal Rescue Officers arrived at the scene, the dehydrated feline was highly stressed and was crouched in an awkward position in the pipe. After two desperate attempts at getting the cat out, he was finally freed. He was given food and water immediately, and released back to where he came from.

A huge thank you to the alert Samaritan for playing a part in helping the cat. If you spot any animal in need, here is how you too can help – http://www.spca.org.sg/services_animal_rescue.asp
