Case: Abandonment

A lady with her partner drove to location and abandoned an innocent dog. Based on the CCTV footage, the dog was placed in a sack and kept in the car boot throughout the journey before being heartlessly dump at back alley of shoplots.

This is ONE of the reasons why there are stray dogs out in our streets – IRRESPONSIBLE Pet Owner.

“Abandonment was made possible by the lack of pet ownership regulations. Therefore, the lack of pet ownership laws and regulations were the cause of the stray dog population increase” as written by Guseva, Dog ownership through the Eyes of a Stray Dog: Property Rights and the Stray Dog Population (University of Colorado: Boulder, 2013) 17.

Note: the dog was rescued and sent to veterinary clinic by good Samaritan.
