This is Tucker. He was found limping in the road with his hind leg extremely swollen in search of someone to help. We don’t know what caused this, but he was in agonising pain. It could have been an accident or he could have been the victim of cruelty. Either way, he is desperate for your help. Please go to https://emergency.soidog.org/ert and fund life-saving medical care and shelter for animals that have nobody else.In addition to his leg, Tucker’s skin was infested with ticks, he had a piece of trash stuck in his mouth causing tremendous pain in his gums and he had a deep wound on his cheek. He was underweight, dehydrated and anemic. He needed treatment straight away for any chance of survival from this horrific ordeal. Imagine how he must have felt. Soi Dog Foundation vets removed the object from his mouth and he has been given essential nutrients, fluids and pain medication to begin his recovery. His swollen leg was treated with special medication as it is due to excess fluids, and luckily no broken bones.
