The idea that a picture is worth 1000 words could never be more true than for Mannie. What on earth happened to this gorgeous boy? Was it an accident? Or cruelty? Sadly, we will never know. What we do know is that he desperately needs your help. Please donate now to help not only Mannie, but countless other animals who are still suffering and desperate for your help >> https://emergency.soidog.org/ert.

Mannie was understandably terrified when rushed to the shelter and extremely unhappy to let us touch him. He had endured more suffering than he could withstand, and was screaming in paint. After the pain killers set in, our vets were able to keep him calm while he was examined. He had a puncture wound on his neck, a large wound on his shoulder and the skin on one of his back paws was totally gone leaving just bone exposed. No animal ever deserves to be put through this torture.

Will you please join the Emergency Response Team with a small monthly gift to provide suffering homeless animals with life-saving care? Please click here to start helping now: https://emergency.soidog.org/ert.

The wounds were filled with maggots, his body was covered in ticks and fleas, and he was extremely malnourished. Mannie’s recovery will take time, but every day he grows stronger. He is alive and safe today thanks to your support.

Please act now to help. We are powerless without you. Please pledge a small monthly gift so that Mannie and others just like him can receive life-saving medical treatment. Go to https://emergency.soidog.org/ert. to help.

Thank you.
