Phoebe’s story is one of the most mysterious we have ever encountered. She was found with both her hind legs missing. But what was even stranger was that Phoebe had not lost her legs recently – she had very clearly been like this for some time and had even learnt to get around using just her two front legs.

Dogs like Phoebe urgently need somewhere they can be cared for and now more than ever, we need your help to make sure that suffering animals like her are never turned away. Please go to https://bit.ly/Save_Dogs_Like_Phoebe to help dogs like Phoebe get the safe haven they need.

Our vet examined Phoebe and confirmed that her legs had not been amputated by a veterinary surgeon. It would seem this beautiful girl had at some point endured some terrible trauma – perhaps being hit at great speed by a car – that would have resulted in both her legs being severed. We don’t know what happened after that, or how she did not bleed to death or die of infection. What happened to Phoebe is destined to remain a mystery.

The Soi Dog shelter is now in crisis. We are permanently operating at full capacity and yet, every week, we receive countless cries for help on behalf of sick and injured dogs and cats. We have run out of space and urgently need to expand our shelter facilities or run the very real risk of turning suffering animals away. We cannot let it come to this. Will you please help?

Please go to https://bit.ly/Save_Dogs_Like_Phoebe and donate what you can towards this important project. Your kind gift can help with the plans to expand the Soi Dog shelter or help fund some of the vital medical equipment or treatment kennels and cats that are desperately needed.

This is now a crisis but with your help, we can overcome it. Please act now. Donate at https://bit.ly/Save_Dogs_Like_Phoebe to ensure suffering animals will always have a safe haven in which to heal.

Thank you.
