KATS' Mangrove Nursery Project At SK Kuala Setiu And SK Mangkok, Setiu Wetlands

Since January 2018, almost 500 people (including more than 300 student volunteers) were involved our mangrove nursery project in Setiu Wetlands.
SK Kuala Setiu and SK Mangkok’s students played host to over 600 saplings from 7 mangrove species, watering, weeding and recording their growth during the project period.
We wish to thank Kementerian Air, Tanah dan Sumber Asli for their generosity in funding this endeavour to create Terengganu’s young mangrove scientists.
