‘Tis the season for giving! Christmas is coming soon. Would you care to make a petfood donation to a shelter (of your choice) or any feeder(s) and contribute to our Neutering Fund too?
The Double Charity Petfood/Neutering Donation is a two-pronged donation drive whereby donors buy petfood from us (a minimum of RM350) and we send the petfood to a shelter of their choice or to rescuers/feeders. By doing this, a small portion of the donation goes into our Neutering Fund that benefits street animals while the petfood goes to the shelter/street animals!
Shelter/street animals deserve a yummy treat too!
The participating petfood companies are Avant Pet Sdn Bhd, Coco&Joe and Gold-D. We are very grateful to these three companies for their support.
Procedures:
(1) Choose a shelter/feeder that you wish to support. Liaise with the shelter/feeder and ask what petfood is required.
(2) Select the petfood from our range: www.myanimalcare.org/gifts/. Minimum purchase is RM350.
Avant Pet’s: Order from us.
Coco&Joe’s: Order from us, but kindly ensure the recipient has a freezer to store the raw food.

Name of donor: (can be anonymous, if so wished)
If it’s a private shelter and the shelter requests anonymity, please let us know. But we still need the delivery address. If it is as feeder who requests anonymity, also please let us know.
(4) We will get back to you if there is stock and if the petfood company is able to deliver the order for you. For out-of-state orders, courier charges will be incurred.
(5) Once the stock is confirmed available and delivery is possible, please make payment to us and we will deliver the order for you.
(6) After delivery is made, we will publish the petfood donation, a photo of the petfood at the warehouse (before delivery) and details of the petfood or an acknowledgement from the shelter/recipient, if any. The donor(s) will also be informed through email or whatsapp.
Of course it would be lovely if the shelter/recipient can take a photograph and send it to us, but from previous experience, we have learnt that shelter staff are usually extremely busy so we would prefer not to impose.
If the petfood donation is for feeders and rescuers, please ensure there is a proper delivery address and someone to receive the consignment.
