[ No shark’s fin soup at public service events? ]I sure hope so! 😊 Yesterday, I asked the Prime Minister (a) whether shark’s fin is still being served at events organised by or for the public service; and (b) whether shark’s fin will be served at future events organised by or for the public service. The reply was not very direct BUT… as it is really not fair, transparent, value-for-money, prudent, and honestly never appropriate, I am sure that our public agencies will NOT be serving shark’s fin at their events 👍Here is Minister Chan Chun Sing’s full reply.“Public agencies abide by the procurement principles of fairness, transparency and value-for-money. Agencies decide on their respective menus based on what is prudent and appropriate for the occasion. We do not have policies specific to the serving of shark’s fin.”What do you think 🤔Do help “SHARE” this post and spread the word 😊 Thanks 👍#LouisNgParliamentaryQuestions#WeLoveNeeSoonEast #NeeSoonCares #HomeWithAHeart
