Flowerchild update! You may have missed this beautiful girl’s story so here it is again – with some more recent photos! Please help these rescues to continue by donating for the expansion of the Soi Dog shelter! Donate whatever you can now at https://bit.ly/Saving_Flowerchild

Flowerchild was found dumped by the side of the road. She was extremely sick when found and so we can only assume that this is why she was discarded like trash. Her owner probably didn’t want to have to pay for her medical treatment. Luckily for Flowerchild, the passer-by who found her took her straight to the Soi Dog shelter. But little Flowerchild was one of many animals in need to arrive that week alone.

As Soi Dog is now being asked to help more and more animals every day, often from far beyond the location of our shelter, work has started to create more space and to add additional treatment kennels and enclosures, so that many more animals can be rescued and given the care they need. Your help is desperately needed to make this a reality.

The vets here say Flowerchild is probably not even a year old. In all likelihood, she was purchased at a market or from a breeder and no doubt she was a very cute puppy at the time. But by the time we met her, she was emaciated, her nails were horrendously overgrown, she had terrible skin problems and an infection in both her eyes. All of this would have been preventable if her owner had bothered to care for her.

Will you please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Flowerchild and donate to fund the expansion of the Soi Dog shelter, meaning many more animals like her can be given a safe haven and receive the life-saving medical treatment they urgently need?

Today, several weeks on, Flowerchild is looking so much better. There is still a terrible sadness in her eyes, but her medical treatment is working and she is starting to recover from all the illnesses that plagued her. She is now safe and will never be abandoned again, but we can’t forget those that are still out there, suffering on the streets. Please donate so that they too can be helped.

Your kind gift can help to expand the Soi Dog shelter so that other homeless animals can get the help they need and a safe haven in which to heal. With no government funding, it simply can’t happen without you. Please give what you can now at https://bit.ly/Saving_Flowerchild

Thank you.
