Skyler’s injury is absolutely shocking. Just try to imagine the unbearable pain she endured while laying helpless in the road.

It’s heartbreaking to think of how scared Skyler must have felt. She is a homeless street dog, who just wanted love and affection but was instead, hit by a car and left for dead. The impact broke her pelvis, and ruptured her abdominal wall leaving a huge open wound. This wound was left for so long it had become infected, and she was unable to stand up. Many people drove past, but did not help. What would have happened to her without you? It’s simple. She would have died on that road, in pain and alone.

Thankfully, our animal officers were alerted of Skyler’s accident and rushed her into Soi Dog hospital. She was given pain medication, and the wound was immediately cleaned and stitched up. Her road to recovery was long and at times she lost faith. However, we are happy to announce she never gave up fighting and has finally reached a full recovery. Despite this horrendous ordeal leaving her blind and with three legs, she is nothing but a sweet affectionate lady.

Skyler already been through so much and put up a strong fight to survive. Please don’t let her spend the rest of her days wondering what life could be like with a family.
