24 May 2019 celebrates our 18th anniversary of animal protection efforts since 2001.

10 years ago, we established Singapore’s first facility dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of animals rescued from the illegal wildlife trade and injured native wild animals – The ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre.

With an average monthly expenditure of $40,000 to run the 24/7 wildlife rescue and rehabilitation efforts, we need all the help we can.

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
