Bug, formerly known as Haojing, traveled all the way to Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, based in Virginia USA, with high hopes of finding her #furrytailending. Luckily for Bug, it did not take her long to capture a few hearts. Upon Bug’s arrival, a lovely couple who had just traveled to Thailand, Cambodia and Laos contacted the rescue. They had witnessed the plethora of street dogs throughout their travels and knew they wanted to help in some way.

“A few days after we got back, we were both feeling lost with the travel blues and reached out to our foster team to say we’d be able to take another dog in two days. They responded that Haojing was at their rescue and asked if we could take her that day after work. We short term fostered her for a week and absolutely fell in love. Needless to say, we foster failed and knew she had to be ours forever. She is the biggest snuggle bug, incredibly smart, overly dramatic, sweet and stubborn dog we’ve met. She even has her own Instagram account, bugthestreetdog!”

We are extremely happy to hear that she has found her furever home so quickly. She deserves to be someone’s everything, and by the sounds of it, she absolutely is. Thank you to our Partner Rescue and to Bug’s new family for making this #furrytailending happen!

For those who would like to share their #furrytailending with us, please email adoptions@soidog.org.
