This is Cutie. He was found at the side of the road, a shocking injury to his tail causing the bone to protrude. Now imagine if there had been nowhere for him to go?

As you read this, work is continuing on the expansion of the Soi Dog shelter and your support is urgently required. We must create more space to ensure that desperate dogs like Cutie are never turned away! If you want to make a difference, please become a Superhero for Strays now at https://bit.ly/Caring_for_Cutie

Cutie arrived at our shelter after being picked up by one of our Animal Rescue Officers. His friendly face and happy demeanour would have masked the terrible pain he was in. When our vets examined him, they found that the wound on his tail was badly infected and infested with maggots. Cutie kept snapping at his tail, an indication of the pain it was causing him.

We don’t know what caused this terrible injury to poor little Cutie, but it was sadly too late to save his severely damaged tail. In order to end his terrible suffering, it was removed and Cutie’s journey to recovery has begun.

Despite his suffering, Cutie is still one of the lucky ones. Thanks to people like you, we were able to help him. Imagine if he had to be left on the streets? As you read this, there are countless animals just like him and they too are in desperate need of a safe haven and ongoing care. Please help us help them.

Please become a Superhero for Strays so that more sick, injured, abused or abandoned animals can be given a second chance at life. Your kind gift can help fund the expansion of the Soi Dog shelter, creating much needed additional space, as well as helping to fund the rescue and care of animals that have nowhere to turn. Please go to https://bit.ly/Caring_for_Cutie to join now. Thank you.
