It is a miracle I am alive.

Many of you know my story, as it was one of the worst cases Soi Dog has ever seen. My name is Poppy and it is a miracle I am alive. I was found in an unimaginable state; emaciated, starving, and battling a horrendous skin problem. When the Soi Dog team found my frail body, they were not sure I was even alive. They raced me to the hospital and worked quickly to save my life. Despite my condition, my strong will gave me the strength to fight and survive. My recovery was long and each day had new battles, but I made it! I am finally ready to find my furever home. I have never experienced the love of a human until I came to Soi Dog. On the streets people walked by me, ignoring my horrible condition as it progressed. All I wanted was to feel love and cared for.

Now at the shelter the staff and volunteers make me feel special. They have given me hope of a new life. Each day I dream of having a home of my own. Somewhere comfy to lay my head at night and feel safe. I have been told I would make an incredibly loyal companion; do you think you could give me a chance. I have been through so much already. Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
