Do you remember me? When I was just a few weeks old, I was found struggling to walk, skinny and dehydrated. I had an open wound on my head and was battling a skin problem that covered my tiny body. Life on the streets is not easy for a young puppy; my future looked bleak. My name is Banyan and thanks to people like you, I was rescued from a life of hopelessness.

When I arrived at the Soi Dog Hospital, I was in desperate need of medical care. The vets took me in and worked hard to save my life. They told me I was a fighter and gave me the strength to survive. The pain once visible in my eyes has faded and has been replaced with happiness. Despite a rough start to life, I am ready to find my forever home.

One look into my big brown eyes will hopefully melt your heart. The volunteers say I am known to be a sweet girl who keeps out of trouble. I wait my turn for a cuddle and walk well on the lead. Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
