Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post

On World Rabies Day recently, John Dalley, co-founder of Soi Dog Foundation, was honored by and received an audience with HRH Princess Chulabhorn of Thailand on behalf of Soi Dog. John is in the back row on the far right.

John accepted an award from Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health for Soi Dog’s work toward eliminating rabies in Thailand.

The second photo is of our Dr. Oob presenting HRH with Soi Dog’s Little Orange Book, which explains our philosophies, programmes, etc. Princess Chulabhorn personally took away the book with her to read later.

While rabies has not been completely eradicated in Thailand yet, Soi Dog’s intensive and ongoing rabies vaccination programme has greatly helped to minimise outbreaks.
