Do you remember Banburi? This sweet kitty laid almost lifeless beside a highway with a ruptured stomach. Unfortunately, the “before” images are horrific…but they were the tragic reality for this formerly homeless cat.

Like so many other kitties like her in Thailand, there was no loving owner watching over Banburi…no one to notice or care when she didn’t safely return home. If you love cats, please join Soi Dog Foundation’s Care for Cats Club by clicking this link: https://bit.ly/help_banburi_SOIDOG

Please, will you make the most generous gift you can now to help cats like Banburi?

We’re happy to tell our supporters who’ve been following this kitty that she’s much better now. If you don’t know her story, here it is:

A kind woman was walking back to her car and heard faint, pitiful cries. She went to investigate and found Banburi in immense pain. She immediately grabbed puppy training pads out of her car and carefully scooped up the poor kitty, wrapping the pads around her to prevent further injury.

Banburi arrived at the Soi Dog hospital just in time, and we were able to save her life. This could not have happened without the support of kind animal lovers like you.

We don’t know what caused her horrific wound, but most likely, Banburi had been hit by a car. She was immediately given strong painkillers, and our vets got straight to work cleaning her wound. Next they carefully placed her intestines back inside her stomach and stitched her up.

Banburi was also suffering from a severe case of feline upper respiratory tract disease (FURTD), also known as cat flu. She has been recovering in the Soi Dog hospital, where our vets are closely monitoring her progress. Her white blood count is much lower, meaning her infection from the wound is much improved.

As her newest pictures show, this girl is a fighter! Banburi refused to give up…just like you decided to not ever give up on homeless animals like her. You understand they don’t deserve to suffer simply because they were unlucky enough to be born or to become homeless.

As you read this, other sick and injured homeless cats are in desperate need of help. For them, will you please join the Care for Cats Club now? Your membership will mean more sick and injured cats can be collected and given medical treatment and a second chance at life.

Just a few dollars a week is all it takes to ensure many more homeless cats like Banburi can be saved. Please go to https://bit.ly/help_banburi_SOIDOG to join the Care for Cats Club. Because you truly are the only hope they have.
