EFFORTS NEED TO SUSTAIN TO ENSURE THE PROTECTION OUR WILDLIFE AND THEIR HABITATS DESERVE

[ Protect our wildlife ]

Some are concerned about the impact the Cross Island Line might have on our biodiversity. We should address their concerns and provide assurances. As such, I’ve filed the following Parliamentary Question for next month’s sitting:

“To ask the Minister for Transport whether the Ministry will conduct independent environmental assessments and release regular reports to the public on the implementation and effectiveness of mitigation measures during the construction of the Cross Island MRT Line within and around the Central Catchment Nature Reserve.”
