[ Who are Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael? ]

Speaker Tan Chuan-Jin, SMS Lam Pin Min（蓝彬明）and I spoke about Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael in our speeches in Parliament this week 😬

Who exactly are they? They are Raffles’ banded langurs who need our help. They need the forest at the Cross Island Line work site (A1W1).

Many of us are concerned that the clearance and construction work at this work site will affect the langurs and threaten their survival in Singapore.

There are only 61 Raffles’ banded langurs left in Singapore. The survival of this species is in our hands 🙏

I’ve asked MOT to consider moving work site A1W1 further into SICC where the forest that the langurs need will not be impacted. I’m glad that MOT is actively looking into this.

Dr Andie Ang was also mentioned in our speeches. She is an amazing person who has dedicated her life towards studying and saving the Raffles’ banded langurs. Do support the good work that she does 👍
