As We Celebrate World Water Day On 22nd March 2020..

As we celebrate World Water Day on 22nd March 2020 with the theme ‘water and climate change’, let’s reflect on the importance of water and the role we can play. Water is a vital resource that humans and many other living beings depend on for survival yet water is finite and often, still goes unappreciated. With climate change impacting on freshwater ecosystems resulting in reduced availability, quality and quantity of water, the future of our water security is at stake.

.

Together, let’s address climate change by taking easy water actions including reducing water wastage and consumption such as shortening shower time, turning off the tap while brushing teeth, fixing leaky taps and installing water efficient devices to our taps. Demand on clean water is escalating even more now as we brace the COVID-19 pandemic so stay safe and always wash your hands, but remember to use our precious water wisely too! Be a #waterhero.
