40 SECONDS AT ACRES: DAY 50 OF THE #CIRCUITBREAKER

Some time back, we did post on a collared kingfisher nestling that we had rescued. About a week later, we did a second post on his progress at ACRES – where he had started eating fish from a tweezer by himself.

All of us at ACRES are so thrilled to update that he was finally released back to the wild today. This short video looks at his final journey as he learns to not just eat by himself but be able to catch prey and fly off in one motion. We provided him with a variety of diet in different setups to ensure that he has the highest chance possible to survive back in the wild.
