Todays Good News Story Comes From Sweden. Harriets..

Today’s good news story comes from Sweden 🇸🇪

Harriet’s story: “I got this really timid, scared of everything dog, Harriet, from LASSie 8 years ago. It’s hard to tell it’s even the same dog now! She’s so smart, brave and happy these days – and amazing in every way!”

Harriet now lives in Sweden with her 2 siblings (cats) 😻

Harriet’s Mum, Maja, first met her when volunteering at the shelter during her week-long stay at Temple Tree. At the time, Harriet was listed on the LASSie website as a permanent resident, due to her fearfulness. Maja couldn’t adopt Harriet immediately because she still lived with her parents, but a year later she couldn’t stop thinking about her so she got in touch with LASSie and on the same day she moved into her own apartment, she picked Harriet up from the airport!! ✈️

What a beautiful story!! 💕💕💕 We hope you agree. If you have a good news story for us, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Let’s share some positivity during these challenging times!

The Langkawi Animal Shelter and Sanctuary Foundation is set-up to receive, rehabilitate and care for neglected, abused and needy animals. The organization also runs the Langkawi Island Animal Clinic - a charity project aimed at the sterilization of the stray cat & dog population. Both are non profit ventures, staffed partly by volunteers and aimed at improving the lives of unwanted animals.
