𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐒

𝟏. are sentient beings.

𝟐. are dogs ( licensed or unlicensed, owned or not ) that are unleashed when out of the home compound.

The Local Authorities will apprehend them and put them down if unclaimed after 7 days.

𝟑. are genetically programmed to multiply exponentially. A pair of dogs can produce 128 puppies whilst cats produce 144 kittens over 2 years on the assumption only 2 babes survive per litter.

𝟰. are perceived to be intrusive when their numbers increased and gathered into packs resulting;

a) in being abused and poisoned.

b) in notifying Local authorities

with the strays being captured and put down unless they are rescued.

5. are created by irresponsible owners and the public. From :

a) carelessness in keeping pets within compounds resulting in pets getting lost.

b) dumping old and sick pets.

c) change in lifestyle with respect to economic difficulties, time and living space.

d) negligence and dumping by contractors upon completion of their contracts.

e) negligence and dumping by agricultural concerns after production & fruiting seasons

especially durian orchards.

f) negligence in engineering yards, factories, warehouses and small businesses concerned that need security.

6. Irresponsible disposal of food waste attracts strays. They get fed and breed more.
