Corpus Christi, Texas. Elderly Dog Living Homeless..

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS

Elderly Dog Living Homeless for 1 Year Since His Person Died

We posted about this dog 10 days ago and made contact with a few people in the Corpus Christi area, but sadly, they did not follow through. So let’s try again. This elderly dog used to live in a home. His human mom died a year ago and, ever since, he’s been homeless. He goes to a local gas station where a kind-hearted local man feeds him twice a day. This man has four dogs of his own and his homeowners association has strict limits, but he has offered to donate for veterinary care. This dog doesn’t need to be ‘trapped’. We think he can be easily put on a leash and loaded into a car. It just takes one person willing to make a plan and follow through. We’re a 30 hour drive from that location otherwise the dog would be safe right now. Please, can folks share this and lets see if we can make some connections with responsible rescuers in Texas. If you have a sincere offer to help, please leave a comment here. Thank you.

Animal Rescue Chase

The Great Animal Rescue Chase celebrates the art of animal rescue with a worldwide race to rescue one million. It’s a free event, open to all, and is perhaps the only global animal rescue event aimed at helping any animal in distress, anywhere in the world. Our ambition is to create a culture of enthusiasm and pride in animal activism. We believe in teaching, by example, that there is a hero in each of us just waiting to be unleashed. Empowered animal lovers can not only save lives, but build the momentum for powerful animal welfare reform.
