This dog is believed to have been abandoned. Pet dogs are not streetwise and hence he must not have been able to fend for himself. The injury in his frobt limb festered and the dog probably suffered in pain and near starvation before it died. If this is an abandoned dog, please do not adopt dogs if you cannot commit to care for it throughout its entire life. If it is a lost dog – if your dog goes missing, please look for it the same way you’ll look for a missing loved one. This is just too sad. Rest in peace little one – you have been terribly wronged. Incident happened in Kedah. Doggo died today. And passers-by, if you see a seriously injured dog, please open up your hearts.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
