Todays Lost Found Story Is One Which Is Testimony ..

Today’s LoSt & Found story is one which is testimony of the importance of taking IMMEDIATE & PERSISTENT action when a beloved dog goes missing.

Here is a picture of Micco, bathed, eaten, and asleep on her daddy’s side of the bed… it has been an ordeal for her and her pawrents, a ten hour ordeal from morning till evening… and here is her daddy’s account:

“Let me tell you a story…on 5th July 2020, a man was walking his beloved dog named Micco. On a quiet street of houses, a burly man came out shirtless and threw his garbage into the bin rather loudly.

Micco got frightened and somehow managed to free herself from the harness, and off she went. Gone like the wind.

Her owner frantically chased after her but was no match for her speed. It was approximately 830am. The man was in despair but managed to pull himself together, contacted the founder (Ms Kim) of the animal shelter, 2nd Chance, where he adopted Micco from.

Ms Kim came to the scene and together they went looking for Micco everywhere but to no avail. Ms Kim decided to go print posters so they can inform the neighbourhood.

Whilst Ms Kim was gone doing that, the man continued the search. His faith was strong but his heart was torn to pieces. He was like a dead man walking.

Ms Kim called the man to tell him to park his car at the same spot in the morning. The man did just that and went on foot to look for her beloved Micco. It was already 3pm.

The man scoured every street, every drain, got cut in the hand, and some bruises on his legs. He didn’t relent but continued to search. He was praying for rain, for rain would force Micco out of hiding.

True enough, his prayer was answered, rain came. But the torrential downpour meant the current in the drains could also sweep Micco away. Oh dear, his mind went all over the place especially Sg Penchala.

With the heavy rain, he couldn’t continue on foot no more, got into his car and drove round and round for zillion times. At around 615pm, he told himself, Micco would come back to the spot, just like Ms Kim said.

He took one more turn, prayed to The Lord and as if could not believe his own eyes, there was a mixed breed dog of Corgi and Sheba running towards that spot. The man quickly jumped out of his car and after some coaxing and drama, managed to retrieve the dog from underneath a pick up truck. The man upon getting hold of his dog, hugged her tightly and he was not just crying; he was sobbing uncontrollably. Out of relief, out of joy; he was absolutely overwhelmed.

He must be so happy. You know why I know? Because Micco is now back home, and I am the man.“
