Soi Dog's Furry Tail Endings

Frang’s #furrytailending story!

When Frang was brought to Soi Dog’s shelter in 2015 the vets suspected that he was in a car accident at some point before his arrival. The injuries he suffered left him with a permanent limp and some neurological damage, which meant that he wobbled slightly when he walked.

One of our amazing partner rescue, Whistler Animals Galore (WAG) decided to give then, nine-year-old Frang the chance to travel to Canada in hopes that he would find his forever home. In 2018, thanks to Soi Dog Canada for their support and coordination, along with Whistler Animals Galore – WAG, Frang journeyed safely to Canada where he was successfully adopted by a lovely family.

Two years later Frang’s family posted the following update and photo above on Instagram:

“This guy treed a bear today on his 2nd anniversary with our family. Happy 2nd birthday Frang! #frangydang we love having you as part of our family. Thank you to Whistler Animals Galore and Soi Dog Canada for bringing Frang over to Canada from the streets of Thailand.
