十月份领养会日期出炉！

我们在 The Pet Safari, Toppen 的领养会将在10月份改成每个星期六举办哟 ~ 3/10, 10/10, 17/10, 24/10, 31/10 (12pm-6pm)

而这些是近期在园区领养出的孩子 ❤

如无法参与领养会的朋友，您仍然可通过预约方式，进来园区探访我们里头3000++只的猫咪、狗狗，领养和你有缘的孩子

每次最让我们受鼓舞的是听到领养人说，

『本来打算要去宠物店买某某品种的名犬，但朋友一直鼓励叫我领养，所以就来你们这边领养了』

于是园区又多一个浪小孩有家了 🐱🐶

恭喜宝贝们！

这代表更多人开始有了 【领养代替购买】的观念，并且正在努力一起宣导中

但买宠物的人还是占绝大比例，

我们要更加把劲 💪

只有当购买需求降低，黑心繁殖业才有逐渐萎缩甚至关闭的一天，街头也将减少一个流浪生命，感恩每一把为毛孩说话的声音

*为保障领养后的毛孩健康、日后不再繁殖，我们征收领养费RM350 (狗) / RM250 (猫)，但这不是给我们的，而是作为该只毛孩的预防针、节育手术、驱虫、晶片注射、身体检验的费用 (比市价优惠很多)

(以上都是宠物最基本、最重要的医药福利)

申请领养者需25岁或以上，需遵守基本爱护条件*

And these are the furkids adopted from our shelter recently ❤

If you are unable to attend the adoption drive, you can still make an appointment to visit the more than 3,000+ furkids in HOPE, and adopt your destined furry buddy.

What makes us most gratified every time is to hear the adopters say,

“I planned to go to the pet store to buy a pedigree dog of XX breed, but my friends have been encouraging me to adopt, so I came to your shelter to adopt one.”

Then there is another rescued homeless pet found a home sweet home! 🐱🐶

This means that more people are beginning to have the awareness of “ADOPT DONT SHOP” and are working hard to promote it together.

But people who buy pets still account for the vast majority. We need to work harder 💪

Only when the purchase demand decreases, the unethical breeding industry will gradually shrink or even close down, and there will be less stray lives on the street, thank you for every voice that speaks for the animals.

To keep a pet, make adoption your only choice.

Reduce the homeless animals is our social responsibility together.

*In order to protect the health of the adopted furkids and ensure that they will not reproduce in the future, we charge an adoption fee of RM350 (dog) / RM250 (cat), but this is not for us, but as a medical expenses of full vaccination, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, microchip injection and physical examination for the furkid. (so much cheaper than the normal price)

(Above are the most BASIC and IMPORTANT medical benefits a pet deserve to have)

Applicants for adoption must be 25 years of age or older and must comply with basic pet care conditions*

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
