Sos Sos Sos. Urgent Adoption Or Fostering Required..

SOS SOS SOS. URGENT ADOPTION OR FOSTERING REQUIRED.

A man holding dual UK/ Hong Kong citizenship called JD was ‘trapped’ in KL when the MCO was announced. During his stay of 8 months, he found six puppies and kept them in his hotel room. They were vaccinated at St Angels Vet. However, he refused to give them up for adoption without a minimum adoption fee of RM500 each. One of our volunteers offered to put the teenaged puppies up for adoption at the MDDB adoptiin drive but he refused when he found out that the donations we receive for the puppies ate sometimes even RM10 or RM20. Failing to get the puppies adopted with a minimum adoption fee of RM500, when the time came for him to return to England, he left all of them at a makeshift shelter in KL. They were initially given food daily by a 84-year-ol feeder who fell and broke her hip a few days ago. The dogs are not being fed now. We need to get the doggos – which are about 7 to 8 months old – out of there as soon as possible. There are 2 adult dogs in the location as well. This area also has some shady characters who allegedly catch the dogs and sell them as meat to fund their drug habit. As this place is facing the main busy highway, the dogs usually jump out of the fencing and get onto the main road. JD had refused to give the puppies up for adoption when they were small, now they are all abandoned at this place. Please help. Please call Chandra at 0123167275 if you are able to help.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
