When poor Madahva arrived at Soi Dog she was simply mired in misery. She was so thin, her bones were clearly visible and she had severe distemper – a killer disease for many desperate street dogs. But once the vets examined her, they found she’d had to endure more than we ever could have guessed.

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
