We Are Disheartened To Announce That Paws Will Rem..

We are disheartened to announce that PAWS will remain closed to the general public until further notice due to the MCO and the alarming risk of Covid-19 in and around our area.

Currently, we have over 500 animals under our care and although we are taking a huge financial risk by remaining closed, we have their safety first in mind. All it takes is one positive case at the shelter for us to face a massive problem in the care of our furry companions. We are concerned that in the event of a mandatory quarantine and premise shutdown, they will be left without anyone to care for their daily needs such as food, cleaning and more importantly, veterinary care for the sickly.

Despite knowing that our finances will be badly affected by closing, we have decided that the animals’ wellbeing is our top priority. Hence, PAWS needs you. We need you more than ever. We fully understand that it is a difficult time for everyone, but our furry friends are unable to fend for themselves and they need YOUR support.

We truly appreciate each and every donation with all our hearts, whether it’s big or small, in kind or monetary. Lend your hand to a furry paw today at paws.org.my/donate

Stay healthy, stay safe and let’s all do our part to contain the spread of Covid-19 together!

PAWS

PAWS was founded in 1987 by a small group of local and expatriate volunteers. Through their generosity and imagination, PAWS was constructed on a patch of land owned by Sime Plantations on the Subang Airport Road. This distinct group of sheds and a courtyard still stands today and currently homes around 400 cats and dogs.

The staff that work at PAWS include one veterinary surgeon and a number of full-time personnel. The organisation depends entirely on the generosity of the public through donations or proceeds from charitable events organized and run by volunteers.
