晚上忙完了驾车回园区，惊见对面车道一只浪浪孤身惨死路上，倒在一大片血泊中 … 听到隔壁坐着的负责人Kimmy心痛大喊 『那是我每天晚上喂的浪浪啊！』 😭

真的极度厌恶不负责任的黑心驾驶!

狗狗流了好多血，可想而知当时车速有多快、撞击有多猛，捡拾尸首时，狗狗体温还是温温的，相信才刚走不久 … 愿她安息 😢

如果不是那一刻刚好被我们撞见，不用多久它就会被碾成一滩肉泥 … 因为根本没有多少人会停下帮助狗狗，或至少把它移到路边，这些根本不该发生的不幸，大家却都太习以为常的视若无睹了 …

每一天深夜从园区回家时，负责人和志工都会在沿途好几个地方喂浪浪

是的 … 就算是我们自己本身，都根本不可能把遇到的浪浪都带回收容所，因为里面真的极度爆满，而是通过结扎、喂养来提升它们的生活品质

有喂浪浪的朋友一定知道这种不安心情，今天你遇到了它，但不保证明天你还能再次见到它 …. 亲眼看到自己每天照顾的浪浪遇难，更是心痛到不行

活一天等于赚一天，是浪浪可悲的宿命

有能力养宠物的朋友，真的，拜托

请以领养、结扎、不弃养，来给流浪猫狗一个家，让它摆脱街头的苦日子，让它不用连死后都无葬身之地 …

过去十多年来，我们不间断的写帖文、做宣导，为的不是赞美和掌声，而是让更多人能看到浪浪的苦境，启发更多人一起去帮助它们

因为不管一根蜡烛烧得有多旺，它都有燃尽的一天，我们必须做的是把烛火传递下去，让动保意识散播到更多角落、扎根在更多人心里

We drove back to the shelter at night and were shocked to see a stray doggie on the opposite lane dying tragically on the road, lying in a pool of blood … heard Kimmy, the person in charge sitting beside shouting with broken heart, “That is the stray I feed every night!” 😭

We really hate irresponsible evil drivers!

The dog shed a lot of blood. One can imagine how fast the car was and how violent the impact was. When the carcass was picked up, her body was still warm. We believe she has only just left … May she rest in peace 😢

If it weren’t for the moment we bumped into it, it wouldn’t take long for her to be crushed into a puddle of flesh … These misfortunes that shouldn’t happen at all, but everyone is too accustomed and choose to ignore it.

Every day when returning home from the shelter late at night, our person in charge and volunteers will feed the strays at several spots along the way.

Yes … even for ourselves, it is impossible for us to take in all the strays we encounter back to shelter, as inside is really very crowded, but we spay/neuter and feed them daily to improve their quality of life.

All the stray caregivers must get to know this feelings … You met it today, but there is no guarantee that you will see it again tomorrow ….

Seeing that the stray that we take care of every day are killed with our own eyes, is even more heartbroken and furious.

Living a day is equal to earning a day, this is the sad fate of the homeless animals.

Friends who have ability to keep pets, PLEASE, please ADOPT, NEUTER, and NEVER ABANDON to give a home to the homeless cats and dogs, so that they can get rid of the hardships of the streets, so that they do not need to have no place to bury their bodies even after death.

Almost every day we pick up the carcasses of small animals that have been killed on the road to bury them and let them rest in peace.

We have repeated this so many times, but please do not stop to help educate eevryone to drive carefully and to respect all lives.

Little animals don’t understand traffic rules, but you do.

Over the past ten years, we have been writing countless social media posts, not for praise and applause, but for more people to see the plight of the homeless animals and INSPIRE more people to help them together.

As no matter how vigorous a candle burns, it will burn out one day. What we have to do is to pass the candle light down so that the awareness of animal protection can spread to more places and take root in more people’s hearts.

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
