Big, Bold And Beautiful. Here's Our Cat Of The Wee..

Big, Bold and Beautiful.

Here’s our 🌟Cat of the Week🌟 Shenshen. A gentle kitty who is ready to take on the world with quiet determination.

As part of our #fivawarenessmonth we are focusing on some of our most outstanding #SoiDogRescue kitty cats who are overlooked by potential adopters. The FIV cats.

An FIV fighter, Shenshen for instance lived in a home until his owner decided to let him down and abandon him.

We don’t know how much it hurt Shenshen as he probably tried to make sense of what happened to him. Maybe it was the heartbreak, maybe it was the lack of food, maybe it was the stress, but when he was found by a kind person, he was weak and hiding in the bushes.

See his transformation below. Great news is that, Shenshen is now available for adoption. Read more about his sweet, soft-eyed charmer: https://www.soidog.org/adopt/shenshen-2362

🧡

Cats like Shenshen have gone through some incredibly scary experiences while fighting Feline Immunodefiency Virus (FIV). A disease that inflicts all members of the cat family and affects their immune system. A disease that can be controlled and still allows them to live sometimes as long as any other non FIV cat. However, due to misunderstandings, doubts and lack of information about the disease these cats rarely if ever get a chance to find that #fureverhome

Most animal rescues will not even accommodate these amazing cats, but Soi Dog is a refuge which provide care for FIV rescues who just cannot survive the streets due to injury or vulnerability.
