园区有高达90%以上的成犬和街头的浪浪都像佩佩猪一样，他们即乖巧、可爱又懂事，但却因为有了一定的年纪、不怎么靓丽的外表和没有所谓的优等品种，而永远不被人看见、终生无法得到有家的机会

Adult dogs are very well-behaved and stable, and taking care of them is never a difficult task. They don’t dismantle the house like a puppy or challenge your patience, and because they have had the experience of being homeless before, they are more sensible, understand what the owner says, and cherish the life of having a home. Countless benefits when you adopt an adult pet!

⚠️ So please stop misunderstanding that adult dogs won’t be obedient or can’t attached to the adoptive family ⚠️

As many as 90% of the adult dogs in the shelter and the street strays are like Peppa, they are well-behaved, adorable and sensible, but because of their age, not-so-gorgeous appearance, and they don’t have so-called superior breeds, they can never be seen and never get the chance to have a family for life.

We need to voice out for adult pets! If you are ready to raise a dog, please consider giving an adult dog a chance.

Let them get the beautiful second life just because of your choice ❤

*In order to protect the health of the adopted furkids and ensure that they will not reproduce in the future (it’s very important to break the cycle), we charge an adoption fee of RM350 (dog) / RM250 (cat), but this is not for us, but as the medical expenses of full vaccination, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, microchip injection and physical examination for the furkid. (very much cheaper than the usual price)

(Above are the most BASIC and IMPORTANT medical benefits a pet deserve to have)

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
