UPDATE ON POISONING PIGEONS: CAN WE STOP THIS PRACTICE?

We are glad that “NParks will be working with the town councils to encourage them to move away from the use of toxins and to adopt animal control measures and practices that are humane and safe”, and we only hope that the change happens soon, alongside intensive education and engagement for feeders, enforcement and food waste management measures too!

[ Stop poisoning our wildlife 🙏 ]

Many wild animals die as a result of the poisoning, including animals who eat the poisoned wild animals.

I raised this issue in Parliament today and urged the government to end the practice of poisoning wild animals. I’m glad the reply is that we are working to end this cruel practice of using poison in wildlife control measures
