Holmees Happy Ever After. Woof Woof, Its Holmee He..

Holmee’s happy ever after.🏠

Woof woof, it’s Holmee here, now known as Fin. I’ve read so many of my Soi Dog friends’ #furrytailending stories and always wanted to be able to write one of my own. Well, my dream has finally come true as I was adopted to Canada earlier this year! But firstly, let me take you back to when I was rescued in 2019. I was just a few months old at the time and living alone on the streets with untreated wounds all over my small body. Thankfully, I was scooped up by a Soi Dog rescue officer who brought me to the shelter where I received the treatment I needed and grew into the young, handsome boy I am today.

During my year and a half at Soi Dog, I heard a lot about Canada as many of my sheltermates were adopted to there, but I never knew it was going to be this beautiful! And guess what? I have a friend here who my mum adopted from Soi Dog in 2018! He was called Stonecold, but she renamed him Gibson. He’s quite a cool, laidback guy, and we have a lot to chat about as we come from the same place. It’s nice to have a brother.

My mum told me that she trusted her gut and adopted me even though I’m a shy boy. She says she’s glad she did because I’m the sweetest dog and she absolutely adores me. I’m a BIG cuddle bug and sleep right beside her in bed every night. In the daytime, we both love to go on outdoor trips and adventures. People call me a velcro dog because I stick to my mum and go wherever she goes! I’m very protective of her and our house too. No one walks up the path without me letting her know.

I forgot to mention that my hardships on the street left me timid and scared of men. I’m still pretty skittish outside the house and with most people, but I get along with some of my mum’s friends and family. I’ve improved a lot compared to how I was when I first arrived, and she loves me no matter what.

Now this might sound like an acceptance speech, but I want to say thank you to everyone who took care of me during my time at the shelter and helped me find my home. Thank you mum for adopting me and accepting me for who I am. And a big thank you to you Soi Dog supporters who made all of possible for me. I’m beyond grateful.🧡
