Veggy Is A Sweet Little Dog, But Her Past Was A Bi..

Veggy is a sweet little dog, but her past was a bitter one. She came to the shelter in 2020 after being hit by a car and left to languish for days without help.

Thanks to your support, Veggy made a full recovery from her injuries and was chosen by one of our partner rescues in the USA – Garden of Hope Rescue. She secured her space on one of the final flights for soi dogs destined for the USA before the CDC import ban took effect in July last year.

We couldn’t be more delighted to let you know that Veggy has found her #furrytailending now, and here’s what her new mum has to say about her:

“Veggy (the girlies are calling her Violet right now) is such a mush. We’ve loved fostering so much that we will continue to do it but it’s so nice to also have a pup of our own again. A huge thank you to Garden of Hope Rescue for finding and loving Veggy until we could take her home. Making her part of our family is one of the best things we’ve ever done.”

Soi Dog helps the homeless, neglected and abused dogs and cats of Thailand. Our aim is to set an example for the Asian region on how to humanely reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats through spaying and neutering, and to better the lives and living conditions of the stray dogs and feral cats of Asia.

De-sexing (Sterilization) has been proven to be the most effective way to help the animals. Soi Dog has has reached a milestone of over 39,000 dogs and cats sterilized! Totaling 39,050 dogs and cats as of June 2012. Soi Dog is made up of people like yourself, be they financial supporters, field or shelter volunteers, fundraisers etc. with a common goal of helping neglected and abused dogs & cats.
