Gill was not just the Co-founder of Soi Dog Foundation, she was the driving force and very soul of Soi Dog. She was the one who instilled the ethos that we stand by today; to go above and beyond to help the suffering dogs & cats of Asia. Despite losing both of her legs not long after Soi Dog was formed, when she was saving a dog from infected water, Gill insisted on carrying on working 52 weeks a year towards our mission. She neglected her own health to see her beloved dog hospital completed and her legacy keeps thriving at our shelter and on the streets of Thailand 🐾.

Gill’s very own words a few years ago are just as apt today as they were back then: “Without you, it wouldn’t be possible to care for the dogs we have here today, and for the ones, many many of them, who will come through in the future.
