We Should All Grow Our Own Food And Do Our Own Was..

“We should all grow our own food and do our own waste processing, we really should.” -Bill Gates

During Ramadhan, we tend to buy more food than we need for self-consumption as well as for entertaining guests. According to conservative estimates, nearly one-fifth of the food purchased or prepared during Ramadhan ends up in landfills or rubbish bins.

The world produces enough food to keep everyone alive today well-fed, however, world hunger is still on rise. We discard and waste about ⅓ of the food grown for human consumption, and these figures aren’t encouraging.

To end world hunger and food inequality, we need change! Not wasting food is always a good virtue.

Remember this when you go to the Ramadhan bazaar this evening!
