Whitney's First Walk 🐾

A a few months ago Whitney was rescued in dire condition. A rope was tightly tied around her lower back and left a deep, infected wound. She could have easily lost her life without urgent medical care 💔. Whitney spent months at our hospital, receiving round the clock medical care. But not only was her body severely hurt, she had also lost all trust in humans… Whitney was terrified. She spent the longest time in a corner, not allowing anyone to come close to her 😥. Can you blame her? After all she had suffered… Thanks to animal lovers like you, who believe in our mission and continue to support our work, Whitney received the best medical and behavioural care possible for all these months, and is growing in confidence each and every day.

This video simbolises an incredible step in Whitney’s journey to recovery. Her physical wounds have healed and she is now one step closer to experiencing happiness and freedom at their fullest. In March 2022 when she was ready to move out of our hospital and start experiencing her new life. Filled with affection, safety and happiness 🐾🧡. Last week, this strong girl has taken her first walk outside her enclosure… with her beloved behaviourist 🧡

Whitney was the victim of a brutal, deliberate act of cruelty and was left to die a lonely, agonizing death. Only with your help could she get to where she is today, finally coming out of her shell and learning to trust people and enjoy life once again. This is what your donation can do for abused animals like Whitney. It can change their lives. Will you please give a gift today to help us help them?
